Rosie
They say that life is a beautiful lie and death a painful truth. They're right.
No one has ever made me feel more alive than the guy who serves as a constant reminder that my clock is ticking.
He is my forbidden, shiny apple.
The striking fallacy to my blunt, raw, truth.
He is also my sister's ex-boyfriend.
One thing you should know before you judge me;
I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first.
Eleven years later, he waltzed into my life, demanding a second chance.
Dean Cole wants to be my bronze horseman. My white knight has finally arrived. Hopefully, he isn’t too late.
Dean
They say the brightest stars burn out the fastest. They’re right.
She sets my mind on fire.
All smart mouth, snarky attitude and a huge heart.
In a world where everything is dull, she shines like fucking Sirius.
Eleven years ago, fate tore us apart.
This time, I fucking dare it to try.
Getting to her is a battlefield, but man, that’s why they call me Ruckus.
Rosie LeBlanc is about to find out how hard I can fight.
And conquering her will be the sweetest victory.

DD's Review (Yes Dean Cole rocked my world)

Have you ever read a book, that you know will stick with you for freaking ever?! No, well I can without a doubt say that I have. The couple I’m about to tell you about has a love story to tell, it’s deeper than your normal boy meets girl happily ever after, their story it’s a love like Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

I wanna love like Johnny and June,
Rings of fire burnin' with you,
I wanna walk the line,
Walk the line,
Till the end of time,
I wanna love,
Love ya that much,
Cash it all in,
Give it all up,
When you're gone,
I wanna go too,
Like Johnny and June

Except, that should totally say Rosie and Dean

It’s that explosive, it deals with inner turmoil’s, demons, and pasts that makes your heart cry for them, and it makes it all the more memorable.

This one sentence in this book. It broke my heart, but I knew it was needed and it’s a sentence that will stay with me forever…

“In fact, there was a small part of it he still hadn’t given me back.”

You meet Dean and Rosie in Vicious, and you think okay. I can see this story developing. it has that slightly taboo/forbidden subject, which I LOVE!!! Then you read it and you are praying and dreaming and hoping they get a happily ever after.

Rosie, she’s nothing like her sister in so many ways, people think she’s selfish, they think she’s naïve. I don’t see it; I see one of the strongest female characters in a fictional book that I’ve read in years. Dean, :::sigh::: from the personal message he sent me ;) to the way he’s that huge freaking a**hole hero we all love to hate. You don’t really know Ruckus (Dean) like you think you do. He has more depth than the ocean.

DD’s Book is giving this book 5 amazing stars, and to be honest. I’m now dying for Trent’s book, because yes you get a little more insider info on him as well

I wrote this author many lets call it “love letters” while reading it. It was pretty much:

Dear LJ,
here, have my heart and soul, oh and my tears. Take them all!

Dear LJ,
Thank you for breaking my heart a million trillion times.

Dear LJ,
Sleep. Who needs it, when I have your books. I stayed up all night finishing this book, and it was at 4:22am, I sent her a thank you note for writing such a phenomenal book.

While reading this book, it evoked emotions, crying, giggling, whoopin’ it up (yes I just Vicki’d from RHOC) as well as sighing, as well as, holy PLOT TWIST, I didn’t see that coming. And for those, that loved Vic and Millie, you may change your ways, because LJ Shen just wrote her best love story ever!

L.J. Shen resides in sunny California with her husband, son, chubby cat and wild, wild dreams. Her passion is to write badass stories, sushi, UFC and her awesome family and friends (not in this order, though. Obviously, sushi comes before writing. Oh, and also the family part.) She spend the first half of her twenties traveling the world and is now paying all the fun with extra shifts in front of her MacBook. Feel free to contact her on her Facebook page. She loves to hear from her readers.
